so school started on monday. hmmm. i still feel weird. i mean, it does feel like i'm going to school.. but to a certain extent, it feels as though i'm going for this day-course-camp kinda thing. NP feels really like a city of its own or something cos there're so many people around, there are cars and pedestrian crossings, there are co-op shops, 5 canteens which look like mini foodcourts, random stalls here and there which sell those daily uses. it feels as if u can practically LIVE there. haha. so.. for this semester i'm doing Media in Society, which is rather interesting, marketing communication, which is also rather interesting, graphic comm, which i do not really know what it is about cos i havent had a proper lecture/tutorial on it yet, video location production, which would require us to do some filming for a proj! cool. and i'm also doing Creativity and Applied Thinking skills. which is very fun and cool. hmmm. school's alright, and i think my class is alright. although there are still people i haven't spoken a word to before. haha. but you can tell that MOST of them do not put up an act and try to be someone they're not. i just find that extremely irritating. since i don't know everyone well yet, i can't judge yet- and who am i to judge anyway? but from what i see, i think most of them are rather nice people. it just shows that being in mcm doesn't mean you have to be arrogant, bitchy or TOO extreme. of course, mcm students ARE already different without even having to try. haha. *smug*
so anyway, i like my lecturers! they're all so witty and they can crack a joke over almost anything. it's just different when they crack some joke. like if this particular somone says a joke, it might seem dry or super unfunny. but if the lecturers say the same joke, it can sound super witty and funny. i don't understand why. maybe it's the way some of their faces twitch alittle when they say a joke. haha. sometimes, it might even sound lame, but when it comes out of their mouths, it would seem like the best joke around. haha. alright, a bit of exaggerration over here. but ya you get the idea. had prayer meeting ystd at JW church. was great! really enjoyed it. and my back started hurting during worship but i was like you gotta endure man.. prayer mtgs are a good time to train up your diaghram though, i must say. haha. that's about it. bye all. oh ya and it's so embarrassing to have the name Tammy sometimes. urgh. WHY did those reporters have to give her that name? i hope that stupid video thing would die down quick. seriously it's considered quite passe already la. hah..
