wow, how honoured. got people ask me to update you know? haha! well anw, yesterday was an.. eventful day. REALLY REALLY eventful. haha, i'll skip part of that anw. and i got into semi-finals for spelling bee! i really gotta thank God man. cos only ard 40 people made it thru for tertiary level! before the competition actually started, i was praying really fervently in my mind and PHEW, God brought it to pass! am soooo happy :) see there is power in confession! the quarter finals went like this: each candidate were given 2 words to spell. spell the 2 correctly, and you immediately secure a place in the semi-finals. spell only 1 word correctly and you get to go again when everyone finishes. spell nothing correctly and you're out of the entire competition. yea. so my words were "decaffeinated" and "diphthong". when i first spelt decaffeinated, the person testing me didn't hear me right and said: "that's incorrect." my blood nearly froze. i just stared at her and thought: i spelt correctly what.. and then maybe she heard the other candidates at the back mumbling so she said:"actually could you spell that again more slowly? i didn't quite catch it." double PHEW. so i spelt it for her again and turned out she'd missed my "i" previously. then the next word was "diphthong" and i was like THANK God man in my mind. cos i was rather familiar with that word.. had w302 outing at night! ate at suntec and then went to watch a movie.. Eight Below! it was a great movie. very heart warming. yea and the dogs are SO cute. not to mention extremely intelligent too. yea! today's the first 2 easter services! i'm sure it's going to be great! it's harvest time people! :)
